This new membership is for organizations and clubs who want to directly fund the restoration of Tampa Bay and who wish to enjoy an exciting, hands-on opportunity learning about marine ecology and Tampa Bay Watch environmental restoration projects. 

By participating in the Green Club Membership program, you are not only helping the bay; you’re helping yourself. If you enjoy boating, swimming, or water skiing, you want to do these activities in clean, safe water. Our restoration projects help keep the water clean and provide critical habitat for fish, birds and marine wildlife such as dolphins and manatees. Personal experience with nature builds the desire to protect nature, which is why we provide the community an opportunity to experience the amazing Tampa Bay. 

Our ideal location on the Shell Key Preserve provides your organization or club an exciting, hands-on opportunity to learn about marine ecology and Tampa Bay Watch environmental restoration projects. 

A Green Club Membership costs $500, and entitles your organization to some exciting estuarine adventures, along with the rewarding opportunity to directly support the restoration of Tampa Bay with your tax-exempt funding.

Green Club Member organizations will be offered a web site link from tampabaywatch.org, along with the choice of one of the following options: 

32’ Beachcat catamaran field trip for 24. This adventure begins with an onsite orientation to the estuary, as well as a touch tank experience. On the boat, you will check out oyster beds, a local bird rookery, seagrass beds and a mangrove forest and beach community! (By appointment.)




Kayak field trip for 24. Aboard tandem kayaks, you’ll paddle through some of our most treasured resources and learn about the bay’s beautiful yet fragile surroundings. The course encompasses an overview of Tampa Bay estuary habitats, its plant and animal life, bay impacts and restoration projects. (By appointment.)



Community Room one-day use. Ideal for corporate meetings, retreats, or events, our gorgeous community room is located on the second floor of the Tampa Bay Watch Marine Center. This spacious room is 2,500 square feet in size and is surrounded by a 1,900 square-foot covered deck overlooking Tampa Bay. (Normal business hours M-F.)
