SPECIAL EVENTS AT TAMPA BAY WATCH
February: Bay Life Art Exhibit
The Bay Life Art Exhibit features distinguished Florida wildlife artists who show a wide spectrum of their work that reflects the beauty and complexity of our natural surroundings. The artists generously donate a portion of all proceeds from art sales to support the mission of Tampa Bay Watch. The event takes place in the Tampa Bay Watch Community Room, a perfect setting to appreciate the beauty of Tampa Bay.
June: Ed Alber Tarpon Rodeo
Join us in June for the Ed Alber Tarpon Rodeo, a catch-and-release tournament on Tampa Bay to benefit our restoration projects and education programs. The exciting pre-tournament Captain’s Banquet includes a silent auction, live auction, and great food and drinks. The next day, anglers launches from the starting point at the Fort De Soto boat ramp to hunt the Silver King. Fish are called in by the boat Captain and logged by professional judges. At the end of the day, all anglers meet back at Tampa Bay Watch for a well-deserved meal and tournament prize distribution. It's your turn to bring home the trophy—are you ready to join the hunt for the Silver King? Click here to email Michelle Tepper for more information.
October: Pumpkins on the Porch
Pumpkins on the Porch is a free family-oriented event where there are festive games, pumpkin painting, and a Halloween parade. After the activities, everyone gathers together on the lawn to watch “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” and enjoy a beautiful sunset on Tampa Bay.
November: Evening for the Bay
Evening for the Bay is Tampa Bay Watch’s premier special event of the year. It features delicious food, complimentary beer & wine, a silent auction, live entertainment, and one of the best waterfront views in the bay area. All proceeds will benefit Tampa Bay Watch’s restoration projects and education programs.
