It’s your turn to bring home the trophy. Are you ready to join the hunt for the Silver King?
The Tarpon Rodeo is our annual all catch-and-release tournament on Tampa Bay to benefit our restoration projects and education programs. Anglers will compete in a half-day tournament. Fish are logged in by the boat captain or a team representative on the event app, iAngler, and judged by a professional app representative.
Join us on Friday, June 12, 2026 for the Tampa Bay Watch Tarpon Rodeo, honoring TBW Founding Board Member Ed Alber!
Tentative Tournament Schedule:
Check-in and pick up event items June 8 to June 11, 2026 at TBW Headquarters (3000 Pinellas Bayway S, Tierra Verde, FL 33715). One member or captain from each team completes check-in and pick-up.
Captain’s virtual meeting will take place Thursday, June 11, 2026 to review iAnglers app features and logging process. Time: TBD.
Teams can depart from location of their choosing on Friday, June 12, 2026.
Catch-and-release tournament from 7a.m. to 1p.m. (at locations within map guidelines).
Lunch and award ceremony from 1p.m. to 3p.m. at The Island Grille & Raw Bar (210 Madonna Blvd, St. Petersburg, Fl 33715).
